Program Overview

The rate at which technology is advancing can be daunting for any lawyer, especially for those who resist change. Technology is inescapable, which makes keeping up to date with it essential to your firm. Staying on top of the new technologies shaping the legal industry is essential for driving innovation, accomplishing business goals, and remaining competitive.

This CLE will discuss how to keep your firm’s technology up to date, including:

  • Infrastructure/cloud storage vs. On premise
  • Cybersecurity risks and remediation
  • Effective communication tools – Voice Over Ips vs landlines
  • Employee productivity/ engagement tracking tools

Speakers

KC Cook is a Technology Strategist at Biz Technology Solutions, with over 10 years of experience in Information Technology. He holds a Masters Degree in Information Technology Management as well as various IT certifications like: AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, CompTIA Pentest+ and Certified Associate in Project Management. While skilled in many topics, he enjoys continually learning and training others about Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Microsoft 365.

 

Robert Ingalls is a former litigation attorney and founder of Lawpods, a podcast production company catering to law firms. Robert was the managing attorney at Ingalls Law, PLLC, from 2012-2018 before leaving practice to found Lawpods. Robert also presents CLEs on Podcast Marketing for Law Firms, Law Office Technology, and Cloud-Based Services & Safeguards.
