Mecklenburg County Bar Swearing-In Ceremony
The MCB Swearing-In Ceremony offers admittees the opportunity to be sworn in with the majority of their peers in front of a panel of judges from many of the courts present in Mecklenburg County. Remarks are made by the presiding federal and presiding state judges and the MCB President. The MCB Young Lawyers Division Chair calls the new admittees to the front in groups and each new admittee's sponsor presents the admittee to the Bar and Bench. Following the ceremony, new admittees and their guests have the opportunity to meet and network with members of the Bar and judiciary at a complimentary reception.
