9:00 to 12:15 p.m. (3.0 hours general) – Part 1: Covering the substantive and procedural law of summary ejectment, expedited evictions, rules of construction, equitable defenses in private and subsidized housing, implied warranty of habitability, self-help eviction, liens on personal property, unfair and deceptive trade practices and fair housing act considerations. The program will include new developments in pertinent state and federal laws.
12:15 to 1:15 p.m. (1.0 hour ethics) – Part 2: Ethical issues in drafting leases, demands, negotiation and representation.
