Mr. Wilson will speak about case law that has developed since the 2015 amendments to the North Carolina Rules of Civil Procedure, “hot topics,” and procedural traps for the unwary.

Recognized as one of North Carolina’s best trial lawyers, Mr. Wilson is the author of NORTH CAROLINA CIVIL PROCEDURE, a treatise now in its third edition. Mr. Wilson has tried over 300 cases and is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is President-Elect of the North Carolina State Bar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lawyers Mutual Liability Insurance Company, and a past president of the North Carolina Bar Association (2004-2005). The views and opinions are not necessarily those of the 26th Judicial District Bar.
