Mecklenburg County Bar
Civil Litigation, Criminal Justice, General
This is a unique opportunity to learn effective trial preparation and skills from two of the region’s most seasoned and respected trial attorneys. Law partners Sara Lincoln and Tricia Derr will share trial tips and best practices, using memorable and entertaining themes from Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat. The program will include “how to’s” on jury selection, opening statements, direct and cross examinations, and closing arguments, with emphasis on building your client’s theme, the importance of credibility, and managing chaos. The views and opinions are not necessarily those of the 26th Judicial District Bar.Expand summary
