Summary

Being a lawyer was already stressful and demanding before the Pandemic, now, we spend more time than ever on our phones, laptops, computers, and digital devices. The increased amount of time we spend in the digital realm is having a direct impact on our nervous systems. While it is helpful to understand new technology as a tool to elevate client service, it can come at a disservice to you because the increased time online has real physiological consequences. The slow chipping away at the health of our nervous systems can be rebuilt through simple exercises. This presentation will provide knowledge breathing and concentration exercises that are meant to heal the Vagus nerve and improve the overall quality of health.

Mental health and physical health are inextricably linked. Physical exercise is about more than keeping your body healthy - keeping the nervous system healthy is vital for both mental and physical health. During this presentation, you will learn how the amount of time we spend online overstimulates the nervous system and impacts overall health. Every day, it is important to get offline, move your body and get in nature. Small changes make a huge impact on your overall quality of life! In this presentation, you will learn a series of small changes that you can implement TODAY to help improve the health of your nervous system.
