Membership
The Mecklenburg County Bar (MCB) is the 26th Judicial District subdivision of the North Carolina State Bar. The MCB is a mandatory judicial district bar. All attorneys licensed in North Carolina who practice law or live in Mecklenburg County must be a member of the MCB.
History
The Mecklenburg County Bar was founded in 1912.
Mission
The mission of the Mecklenburg County Bar is to serve the public and the bar members in improving and preserving the administration of justice, and to assist the North Carolina State Bar as described by statutory requirements.
Governance
The MCB is governed by a Board of Directors. The overall goals are accomplished through the work of more than 70 committees, sub-committees and sections.
