Please describe in 150 words or less why you would be the best candidate for this position: I have worked with the State Bar for over 12 years as a Councilor or Advisory Member on various committees and boards. I am very familiar with the workings of the Bar and its interaction with both the public and the lawyers of North Carolina. I regularly receive calls from attorneys in Mecklenburg County on issues involving professional responsibility and hope I have performed a worthwhile service to the public, which is our highest calling, and also to the attorneys of our State.
