What is the YLS?             Who are we?                           What do we do?

If you are:

• A member in good standing of the Mecklenburg County Bar, and
• either within your first three (3) years of practicing law in Mecklenburg County
• or 36 years of age or younger

Then you are a member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Mecklenburg County Bar.

The YLS:

• stimulates the interest and encourages the participation of young lawyers in the purposes and objectives of the MCB;
• carries on such professional and social activities as will be of assistance to young lawyers in the practice of law;
  
• conducts programs and projects of interest to the general public;
  
• has numerous social, community service, and legal related activities in which you can get involved. Go to Get Involved for more details on such activities;
  
• has a Board of Directors comprised of Officers and Board Members, responsible for furthering the goals of the YLS;
  
• Board of Directors has regular meetings. Visitors are welcome.
