Community Outreach Committee

Continuing Legal Education Committee
Develops, implements, and oversees all CLE programs for the District Bar in conformance with the rules of NCSB CLE Board. Meetings are once a month. Each member is requested to plan one CLE training in a practice area or with an ethics/professionalism theme.

Courthouse Liaison Committee Coordinates the relationship between the Bar and the Courthouse. Subcommittees include Access Courthouse Subcommittee, which reviews the process for lawyers to have access cards to enter through the employees entrance and to obtain entrance on some of the back hallways; Court Funding Subcommittee, which discusses specific court funding needs as needed; Courthouse Facility Subcommittee, which discusses specific issues pertaining to the courthouse facility as needed.
