MCB Sections

The Mecklenburg County Bar offers 10 sections to serve its members within particular fields.  Each section sponsors Continuing Legal Education programs on topics requested by their membership, and provides social, networking and educational opportunities for its members.

  • Members of the MCB may join a section for $25.00.
  • Public Interest attorneys may join for $10 - (Qualifying attorneys work in the following offices:  Public Defenders, District Attorneys, Legal Aid of North Carolina, Legal Services of Southern Piedmont and Council for Children's Rights)
  • Judges membership fees are waived.
