The Mecklenburg County Bar has 12 different Sections that are organized around specific areas of law and practice.

Sections provide a variety of services: 

• A non-adversarial, educational and social environment in which to meet other Bar members in your practice area.
• Participation in Bar activities that directly affect you!
• Establishment of programs & services designed by you to meet your practice needs.

Members of the MCB may join a section for $25.00. New lawyers can join the Young Lawyers Section for $10.00 per year. Fees for judges are waived.
