Meet & Greet with Clerks of Court and Judges

11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Mecklenburg County Courthouse, TCA Training Center

 

No registration is necessary, and there is no cover charge! Light snacks and coffee will be provided.

 

This Coffee Connections will directly follow "Avoiding Malpractice Pitfalls!", a CLE organized by the MCB Young Lawyers Division.  Participation in the CLE is not required to attend the Coffee Connections.

 

"Avoiding Malpractice Pitfalls!", will include a presentation from Camille Stell with Lawyers Mutual and a panel discussion moderated by Dave Melin, of Rayburn, Cooper & Durham, P.A.

 

The CLE will cover:

  • The keys to establishing and maintaining good attorney-client relationships
  • Resources for effective and ethical law practice management
  • Best practices for new practitioners
  • Common errors new lawyers make and how to avoid them
  • Helpful tips for handling the many ethical dilemmas attorneys face on a daily basis
