Supply Drive:

For Larry King's Clubhouse! Located in the Mecklenburg County Courthouse, Larry King's Clubhouse provides free childcare for families while they are conducting business at the courthouse or serving as jurors. The clubhouse also cares for children who are at the courthouse during child neglect & custody proceedings.

Help the MCB help Larry King's Clubhouse by bringing a donation with you- we will have a drop off at the door!  

The Clubhouse needs: 
 - Infant and toddler unisex clothing - sizes 6 mos-5T; new or gently used 
 - Juice boxes- 100% juice, 4 oz size 
 - 100% apple juice- 32+ oz size 
 - Individual serving fruit cups, in 100% fruit juice or light syrup - no artificial sweeteners   

 - Individual serving applesauce- Plain, sweetened 
 - Cheerios: Original only 
 - Crackers: Goldfish, Graham, Animal and Saltine 
 - Huggies or Pamper's Brand Diaper wipes: Unscented, Hypoallergenic. 
 - Disposable sippy cups: "First Years Take and Toss" spill-proof cups, 7 or 10 oz. size. (No cartoon characters) 
 - 8 oz. plastic baby bottles 
 - Parmalet milk (non-refrigerated), 32 oz. cartons, White only, 2%. (found with canned goods)

Mecklenburg County Bar Refund Policy

Approved by the MCB Board of Directors on 9/24/09

 

Registration refunds are 1) 100% refundable for requests made 8 or more days before the event; 2) 75% refundable for requests made 7 to 4 days before the event (a 25% processing fee will be incurred); and 3) non-refundable for requests made 3 days or less before the event. Registrants requesting refunds 3 days or less before the event can be offered the option to transfer the registration to a substitute attendee. Requests for materials, if available, can be made at anytime during the refund request process. If no cancellation is received, payment is due in full.

 

Reservations received less than 24 hours prior to the event cannot be guaranteed. Registrations at the event door will be accepted on a space available basis. An additional charge may apply. Food or beverage cannot be guaranteed.

 

A sponsorship and/or advertisement refund will only be granted in the case that the Mecklenburg County Bar does not fulfill the commitment(s) stated in the signed "Sponsorship/Advertisement Agreement".

 

Refunds on any fees paid to the Mecklenburg County Bar Lawyer Referral Service are subject to the specifications of the MCB LRS Guidelines.

 

** Exceptions or requests for refunds not covered by the above registration refund policy can be considered for approval by the MCB Executive Director or his or her designee.
