Linking Lawyers - A Mentoring Initiative

The Mecklenburg County Bar (MCB) Linking Lawyers mentoring initiative is seeking mentors and mentees for the 2014-15 year. Paired mentors and mentees will gather in mid-November at the new Bar & Foundation Center for the annual kickoff.

Since 2010, Linking Lawyers has been a flexible avenue through which a range of attorneys network, provide and receive guidance on issues of professional conduct and career perspective and gain insight into diverse areas of the law though mentorship. This year, the program is exploring a cluster (group) mentoring option in an effort to meet the evolving mentorship needs of our growing Bar. The program is an endeavor of the MCB’s Professionalism, Lawyer Life and Culture Committee and operates under the leadership of David M. Bishop.

If you are interested in participating in the Linking Lawyers 2014-15 class as a mentee or a mentor, please complete the online application at http://www.meckbar.org/. You may contact the Linking Lawyers chair, David Bishop at dbishop@bdj-law.com or MCB Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator Amina DeBurst at adeburst@meckbar.org or 704/375-8624 for more information.
