Nominations Sought for Extraordinary Pro Bono Service
The Mecklenburg County Bar welcomes nominations for the 2013-14 MCB Extraordinary Pro Bono Service Awards - Outstanding Individual Attorney and Outstanding Collaborative Project.
Outstanding Individual Attorney - Nominations Closed
Outstanding Collaborative Project
1) Contributed an extraordinary amount of pro bono services directly to indigents, children, or non-profit agencies serving indigents or children; or
2) Provided an extraordinary impact for justice to indigents, or children, or developed particularly innovative or enduring projects or programs that serve indigents, children, or non-profit organizations that serve indigents or children; or
3) Demonstrated a dramatic improvement in its pro bono services to indigents, children, or non-profit organizations that served indigents or children in the previous year.
The awards will be presented during the MCB Bar Leadership Dinner on January 30, 2014. Please submit nominations in writing before January 10, 2014 to Heather Blackley at email@example.com or MCB Extraordinary Pro Bono Service Award Nomination, 1123 S. Church Street, Suite 103, Charlotte, NC 28203. Nominations should include types of volunteer work performed, the number of pro bono hours worked (if known) and the impact of the nominee's volunteer work. Any attorney or law firm may submit nominations.
