I arrived in the United States in 1986 from Poland having no knowledge of the English language. In 1989 my family relocated to North Carolina and I learned a new language, embraced the Southern lifestyle and found my dream being realized when I began working at the Mecklenburg County Clerk's office as a Deputy Courtroom Clerk. Single mother of two, I graduated law school in 2005, I then opened my own practice in 2006, working with seasoned attorney Keith Stroud. I am an experienced trial lawyer in civil and criminal, District and Superior courts. This experience has enabled me to see the administration of justice from numerous perspectives and prepared me to be a fair and competent Judge. |
