Linking Lawyers - A Mentoring Initiative

The Mecklenburg County Bar (MCB) Linking Lawyers program is seeking mentors and mentees for the 2013-14 year. Paired mentors and mentees will gather for the annual kickoff in late fall.

Founded in October 2010, Linking Lawyers offers a flexible avenue through which a range of attorneys may meet and discuss their career regardless of their stage in the legal profession.Linking Lawyers is designed to be a resource for networking and guidance on issues of professional conduct and career perspective, as well as to provide an introduction into diverse areas of the law through mentorship.

This program is not designed to be a recruitment, internship or job placement service. The program is an endeavor of the MCB's Professionalism, Lawyer Life and Culture Committee and operates under the supervision of its co-chairs, Hon. Charles "Casey" M. Viser and David M. Bishop.
