Council for Children's Rights

The Council for Children's Rights offers the most comprehensive range of specialized advocacy and legal services for children in North Carolina.  We train lawyers and lay volunteers to participate in representing children confronting an ever-complex and already over-burdened legal system to ensure the childs needs are met whether it be in cases involving parents arguing over their custody, an unmet educational need arising out of their exceptional circumstances, compulsory exclusion from school, being committed and confined for institutional mental treatment, or delinquency charges in juvenile court. The volunteer opportunities available offer exceptional value for those who really want to make a difference.

For more information about the Council contact CFCR at 704/372-7961.
