Court Holds Second Town Hall Meeting

 

The 26th Judicial District of North Carolina is continuing a series of Town Hall Meetings on Wed., Mar. 24, 2010, at The Charlotte School of Law, Room 106 at 7 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend.  Future Town Hall Meetings will be held over the next several months in various locations throughout Mecklenburg County.

 

A panel of judges and court officials will present information on the role and responsibility of the Court in administering fair, timely and impartial justice and field questions from members of the audience so that the public may become better informed about their local court system.  Judges and court officials will not be able to discuss pending cases or give legal advice.  News14Carolina anchor Rob Boisvert will serve as the moderator for this session.

 

This Town Hall Meeting is being sponsored by Justice Initiatives, Inc. in partnership with The 26th Judicial District of NC, The Charlotte School of Law, and News14Carolina.
