Let's Talk Series

The Mecklenburg County Bar and local affinity bars are pleased to present a quarterly luncheon CLE series called "Let's Talk."  The series is designed to provide greater access to the Bench by offering small, intimate environments in which members may effectively network with judges and attorneys within their practice area. Additionally, the Let's Talk series provides opportunities to gain valuable insight into the perspectives of district and superior court judges and to learn how to provide thoughtful leadership through effective, collaborative communication.

Each 2.5 hours session will feature local Superior Court and District Court judges who regularly practice in civil, juvenile, family and criminal courtrooms discussing current case law, professional decorum, civil conduct, respect for the court, appropriate dress and behavior, professional courtesy to opposing counsel, court personnel and clients. Sessions will close with an opportunity for audience members to ask questions of the judges.
