Please describe why you would be the best candidate for the open judicial position:

I am in my 15th year of practice and in that time I have practiced in district courts in more than 10 counties. I have seen what works and what does not work in district court and I can bring that perspective to the bench. I am a Board Certified Family Law Specialist, a certified mediator, a frequent lecturer at CLEs, and I review appellate rulings each month for an NCBA newsletter. My knowledge of the law and of appellate rulings will, I believe, help me to make sound decisions that conform to the law and will withstand appellate review.
