Legal Eagle Charity Golf Tournament 

 

As with MCB golf tournaments in years past, this is still a great way for attorneys to enjoy some fun and fellowship on the links, but now with the added benefit of supporting organizations and projects with a legal nexus in our community.

Net proceeds benefit Justice Initiatives and the Mecklenburg Bar Foundation's support of Legal Services of Southern Piedmont, Legal Aid of North Carolina and Council for Children's Rights.

When: Friday, October 24, 2014. Registration & Breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.

 

Where: Verdict Ridge Golf & Country Club, 7332 Kidville Road, Denver, NC.

 

 

 

Cost: $85/player or sponsor a team of four for $540.

    • Entry fee of $85 includes greens fees, light breakfast, golf cart, prizes and post-tournament reception & awards ceremony.
    • Team sponsorship of $540 includes 4 players, tee sign and sponsorship listing in MCB publications.  
    • You may attend the reception only for $25.

Prizes: Longest drive, closest to the pin, and top net team score.  See details below the registration form.

 

Other Good Stuff: Light breakfast before the game and a post-round lunch reception and prize ceremony recognizing the winners (registered guests welcome at the reception).

Registration Cancellation / Refund Policy

Board Approved 1/24/13

 

Registration refunds are 1) 100% refundable for requests made 8 or more days before the event; 2) 75% refundable for requests made 7 to 4 days before the event (a 25% processing fee will be incurred); and 3) non-refundable for requests made 3 days or less before the event. Registrants requesting refunds 3 days or less before the event may be offered the option to transfer the registration to a substitute attendee. Payment is due in full if no cancellation is received or if cancellation is received 3 days or less in advance of event.

 

Reservations are not guaranteed if received less than 24 hours prior to the event. Registrations at the event door will be accepted on a space available basis--additional charges may apply. For some events, food or beverage is not guaranteed for last-minute registrants.

 

A sponsorship and/or advertisement refund will only be granted in the case that the Mecklenburg County Bar does not fulfill the commitment(s) stated in the signed "Sponsorship/Advertisement Agreement".

 

Refunds on any fees paid to the Mecklenburg County Bar Lawyer Referral Service are subject to the specifications of the MCB LRS Guidelines.

 

Exceptions or requests for refunds not covered by the above registration refund policy may be considered for approval by the MCB Executive Director or his or her designee.
