Linking Lawyers - A Mentoring Initiative

Linking Lawyers is a mentoring initiative of the Mecklenburg County Bar (MCB), and was started in 2010 as an endeavor of the MCB’s Professionalism, Lawyer Life and Culture Committee.  Linking Lawyers is an avenue for mentors and mentees to network, provide and receive guidance on issues of professional conduct, and gain insight into diverse practice areas through mentorship.  The Program is not intended, however, to help mentees gain employment.
Linking Lawyers is currently seeking mentors and mentees for the 2015-16 Fiscal Year.  If you are interested in participating, please fill out the below Interest Forms before November 20, 2015.
(Mentors must have been in practice for at least five years)
If you would prefer to mail a paper copy of the Interest Form, please download the 2015-16 Linking Lawyers Mentee Interest Form or the 2015-16 Linking Lawyers Mentor Interest Form and mail it to:
Mecklenburg County Bar and Foundation Center
2850 Zebulon Ave.
Charlotte, NC 28208
Mentors and mentees will be matched at the end of November, and a Kickoff Reception will take place on January 14, 2016 at the Bar & Foundation Center. The matches will be based on the preferences selected on the Interest Forms.  In order to ensure an experience that is beneficial to both mentors and mentees, please be candid in detailing your expectations for the mentoring experience and the amount of time you are prepared to devote to the Program.

For any questions, please contact the Linking Lawyer Chair, Katie Kliebert at or MCB staff liaision Breanne Mercer at or 704/375-8624.
