4 p.m. - 5 p.m. CLE Training

This CLE presentation will be addressing stress through simple yogic movement, breath and meditation. There is no one answer to dealing with the everyday stress involved with being a part of the legal profession. There are, however, simple practices that provide relaxation and rejuvenation and help us to re-center, re-focus and de-stress to become a better practitioner. Learn how to breathe and slow down. The majority of this CLE will involve a BEGINNER yoga class. No previous experience is necessary.

Participants should wear loose fitting clothing and be prepared to move and flow according to your ability. Some yoga mats will be provided on a first come basis but you can purchase a mat at Target, Wal-Mart, TJ Max or other like places.  If you are interested in yoga and meditation please come. This will be fun!

SPEAKER: Joey Barnes, Attorney at Law, has a full time mediation practice and is also a CYR 200 hour and Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor. He has taught yoga and meditation at Charlotte Yoga for over eight years.
