Program:  Many attorneys who “don’t do collections work” are surprised to discover that their behavior (and that of their clients) is nevertheless governed by the complex web of consumer regulation relating to collection activity.  This CLE focuses on the basics of collections—from the extension of credit to the enforcement of judgments—with an emphasis on practical tips to help your clients (and your practice) get paid.

Speaker:  Harrison A. Lord, Bernhardt and Strawser, PA

Harrison A. Lord is trial lawyer with Bernhardt and Strawser, where he focuses his practice on commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, and debt collection.  He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer Rising Star, a Business North Carolina Legal Elite Young Gun, and the 2011 NCBA Charles F. Blanchard Outstanding Young Lawyer.
