The expertise required to speak competently about mental health issues is drastically changing with increased awareness of issues that people can face.  A concrete example of that is the most recent publication of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM-V), which encompasses changes over 20 years.  This CLE is designed to educate you on the major changes impacting attorneys so that, for instance, you don’t walk into a courtroom and talk about “Asperger’s disorder”, which no longer exists.

Dr. Jonathan Gould, PhD, ABPP is a forensic psychologist engaged in trial consultation, work product review and evaluation services to lawyers and the court.  He has multiple publications in the realm of child custody and presents across the country to judges, attorneys, and mental health professionals about child custody assessment and social science research.
