Clients need advice and reassurance during the worst times of their lives; a criminal investigation or charge, a divorce or custody battle, a home foreclosure, judgments or bankruptcy.  This three hour program will detail the good, the bad and the ugly of client hiring, maintenance and firing when clients are at a personal low.  Chris Fialko (criminal law), Nicole Sodoma (domestic law) and Heather Culp (bankruptcy and business litigation) will discuss personal and firm strategies to attract and retain the clients you want while avoiding or dismissing those toxic to you and your practice.  Leanor Hodge will also report from the North Carolina State Bar and give perspective on the ethical pitfalls of client relations.

Topics Include:

·         Client Development

·         Client Selection

·         Client & Public Relations

·         Client Management

·         Terminating Representation
