Healthy Balance 2010: Dr. Russell Greenfield will discuss the effects of stress and methods to healthily and effectively manage its effects on you, your clients and your law practice.  He will provide you with sound mental health strategies that support emotional as well as physical health, with the aim of enhancing your professional competence as a lawyer.

Ethics & Professionalism: Desa Ballard entered private practice in 1987 after several years of working for the state court system, first as a law clerk to then-circuit Judge Ralph King Anderson, Jr. and later as law clerk to Chief Justice J.B. "Bubba" Ness.  She practiced with a law firm for ten years and opened her own office in 1997.  With her years of experience, she will explore the following areas in the ethics and professionalism arenas: Best & Worst Lawyer Practices, Common Mistakes (that get you into trouble), Remedies (that get you out of trouble) and Advertising/Solicitation
