Program & Speakers:

The program will review emotional stressors that are significant for lawyers, particularly those related to financial hardship, and will offer a way for participants to understand how they can develop resilience to dealing with these stressors.  The program will explore the gap between cognitively understanding what needs to be done in one's life and the motivation to actually do many of the straightforward, simple actions which produce good mental health and emotional resilience. 

Sheila Maitland is a licensed professional counselor in private practice in Charlotte.  Her professional training was received at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and at West Georgia University in Carrollton, Georgia.  She has extensive experience in working with individuals, groups and experiential therapies.
