Program:

9:00 to 12:00 p.m. (3.0 hours general) - Part 1: Covering the substantive and procedural law of summary ejectment, expedited evictions, rules of construction, equitable defenses in private and subsidized housing,

implied warranty of habitability, self-help eviction, liens on personal property, unfair and deceptive trade practices and fair housing act considerations.  The program will include new developments in pertinent state and federal laws.

 

Lunch (included)

 

12:00 to 1:00 p.m. (1.0 hour ethics) - Part 2: Ethical issues in drafting leases, demands, negotiation and representation.
