Program & Speakers:

Most likely, a client charged with a DWI will have to complete a substance abuse assessment and attend Alcohol and Drug Education Traffic School (ADETS) or treatment.  While the responsibility for best legal counsel rests with the attorney, helping a client navigate the mandatory requirements for DWI defendants should be the responsibility of the DWI Service Provider.  This presentation will educate attorneys on the process of entering and completing the assessment and required ADETS or treatment, as well as getting a license reinstated.  If time allows, an overview of Prime For Life, the default educational curriculum for DWI defendants, will also be presented.
