Program & Speakers:

This cross-training aims to strengthen practitioners' ability to identify and advocate for the best interest of non-U.S. citizen clients while counseling them in criminal, family, business, and victim protection and tax matters.  We that hope by pairing immigration lawyers with lawyers from identified cross-over fields, along with and a CPA, we will stretch our collective muscles to better serve our clients.  Participants also will have an opportunity to tone their ethical core through a discussion lead by a member of the bench and "Professor" George Miller.   The training will be 3 hours in length divided into 35 minute segments for interval training. Trainers include Attorneys Mary Carrigan, Mercer Cauley, Katie Clary, Rob Heroy, Rona Karacaova, ADA Jane Honeycutt, Jennifer Cory and Robert Ford, CPA of Peter Bell & Associates. For those participating in the training, you will have the added benefit of building bonds with practitioners in cross-over fields, a truly invaluable tool.
