Program & Speaker:

Economic turmoil continues to take a physical and mental toll on our clients, our profession and on us as legal professionals. This training will discuss the effects of undue stress, highlight different methods for reducing your stress, and help you improve your focus and coping skills.  Together, we will:

·         Discover what stress is and what experts & research tell us it can do to us

·         Learn ways to manage pressure and stress effectively and side-step procrastination tendencies often found in a law office

·         Explore techniques for reducing stress in the context of a hectic legal practice

·         Enhance our attention level and decision-making skills through simple exercises

·         Decreasing your daily stress can not only lead to increased physical wellness, but also improve your overall enjoyment of the practice of law

Presenter is Shannon Carney, attorney in NC, former Fortune 500 Lawyer, and currently runs Wind River Cancer Wellness Programs focusing on helping people deal with the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual stresses that  often come with the diagnosis of a life-threatening illness.
