Mecklenburg County Bar

How can I get help in dealing with ethical issues?

If you're concerned about an attorney who may be dealing with anxiety, substance abuse, communication problems, or suicidal tendencies, the links below can help.

The Mecklenburg County Bar has experts available through its Professionalism, Lawyer Life and Culture Committee who can help you work through these issues.

The North Carolina Lawyer Assistance Program is a service of the North Carolina State Bar which provides confidential assistance to North Carolina lawyers to help them identify and address problems with alcoholism, other drug addictions, and mental health disorders.

Remember to check out upcoming MCB continuing legal education programs on these topics.

Check back for a video featuring one of the MCB's Professionalism, Lawyer Life and Culture Committee members.
